Who We Are
Golf Asia(website top100golfasia.com) is developed by golfers to voice their opinion of the courses they play. The courses are focused but not limited to Asia golf(including Australia and New Zealand) as this geographical area has more new courses being developed and we have our opinion of the courses and would like the input of your experiences on the courses we have visited. This website will not only review the golf courses themselves but give ideas on hotels/resorts, restaurants, and entertainment in the areas of the courses. We want to inform you so you can prepare accordingly when planning a golf vacation or outing.
Ranking System (Egg Roll Ratings)
Similar to hotels, we have rated the courses from 1-5(instead of stars we have replaced that with egg rolls), the egg rolls will represent our opinion of that course. The ratings are averaged from the following criteria and from the 3 different skill levels of players):
40% course architecture
40% course conditions
20% services(food/drink, clubhouse, caddies).
With this formula, we have a final rating. The ratings are as follows:
Egg roll- Do not play, not worth your time.
Egg roll- If your in the area and have a free day to play then play it, otherwise do not plan a trip around that course.
Egg roll- It is a good course, will want to play it again.
Egg roll- VERY good course, you will want to plan a trip around playing this course.
Egg roll- will almost never happen, most likely will be one of the best courses in the world.
